  Sizing & Fit Advice

Runs True to Size (TTS) for standard and wide foot shapes. The generous anatomic forefoot adapts comfortably to natural foot swelling throughout full days on your feet.

How to Find Your Size (Step-by-Step Guide)

1. Setup: Place a plain sheet of paper on a hard floor, flushed against a flat wall. 2. Position: Stand on the paper with your heel resting gently against the wall (wearing your preferred running/athletic socks). 3. Mark: Mark the furthest point of your longest toe on the paper with a pencil. 4. Measure: Measure the distance from the edge of the paper (wall) to your mark in Centimeters (CM).

Recommended Fitting Margin:

• Casual / Trail Walking: Add +0.5 cm to your measured foot length.

• Performance Trail & Road Running (e.g., Lone Peak, Torin): Add +0.5 cm to +1.0 cm to allow full natural toe splay and impact clearance.

Altra Signature Fit & Characteristics

FootShape™ Toe Box: Altra shoes feature an anatomical toe box that allows toes to relax and spread out naturally. Even if the shoe feels wide at the front, this is intentional design and not an indication that the shoe is too large.

Balanced Cushioning™ (Zero Drop): Positioned with equal distance between the heel and forefoot from the ground, promoting low-impact landing alignment.
